Senior Honors Celebration at The Winston-Salem Dash
On April 20th, at the Winston-Salem Dash, we gathered in celebration of the achievements of Crosby Scholars seniors in our 30th graduating class. It was a wonderful evening to celebrate the hard work and dedication of all our graduates and their families. Our 1,054 seniors who are graduating from high school are among 11,000 students in the Crosby Scholars Program! l It was a celebration to remember with over 330 Crosby Scholars seniors in attendance with their family and friends! A few highlights: l- Board Chair Ginger Salt got the celebration started! Ms. Salt noted that the Crosby Scholars Class of 2023 is heading off to 72 different colleges, and counting, including military branches, trade schools and directly into the workforce. - All attendees received a ballpark dinner and dessert, and the Crosby Scholars Program gave away three Off to College gift baskets valued at over $250 each. Black Heart Photo Booth provided entertainment and fun for our seniors and their families to capture the special memories of this event!

The Crosby Scholars Community Partnership congratulates the Class of 2023 Awards and Scholarship recipients! These young leaders attend a public high school in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County and completed at least three years in the Crosby Scholars Program-and some as many as seven years. They make school a priority; volunteer in their community, and exhibit strong leadership qualities they gained by attending Crosby Scholars academies.
It is the vision of the Crosby Scholars Program to ensure that every public school student in Forsyth County has the opportunity to attend college. Over the past 30 years we have awarded 10.1 million dollars to Crosby Scholars graduates. Last year, we awarded $191,150 in Scholarships and over $720,000 in Last Dollar Grants.
