How to Complete the FAFSA – Webinar
You MUST register for this webinar in your Crosby Scholars Student Portal. If you need help accessing your Crosby Scholars Student Portal, please contact seniorprogram@crosbyscholars.org.
Filling out and submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is all about being prepared with the right documents. Learn exactly what information is necessary to complete the form correctly, and find out how you can use the Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to easily submit the form! You will not complete your FAFSA during this academy, if you seek assistance with completing your FAFSA, please register to attend a College Prep Lab.
For many students, completing the FAFSA is the first step in the financial aid process, and submitting a FAFSA is free. Most states and colleges use FAFSA information to award financial aid. For instructions on how to complete the FAFSA online, visit www.fafsa.gov. Visit the web sites of colleges where you are applying to determine which forms they need to consider you for financial aid.

You must be able to meet all the above listed criteria to participate in the webinar. If you cannot meet these requirements please do not register to participate in this webinar. You must log in to the webinar on time. You will receive a link and login instructions via email prior to the start of the webinar. We encourage you to watch this webinar a parent with you; however, your parent cannot earn the Academy credit for you. You must watch this academy to earn Academy credit.
