Senior Academy | Creating Your FSA ID Lab

Creating your Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID is the first step toward completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and accessing state and federal financial aid for college! FSA ID’s must be created prior to starting the FAFSA form.

Join us in-person to receive help creating your FSA ID so that you can be prepared for the FAFSA to open in December! Registration is required in your Crosby Scholars Student Portal.

• 9 – 10 am
• 10 – 11 am
• 11 am – 12 pm
• 1 – 2 pm
• 2 – 3 pm

To successfully create your FSA ID, please make sure that you know your Social Security Number. If you do not know your number, please take a photo of your card or bring your Social Security card with you. It’s critical that you know or have this information before you begin.

• Students Date of Birth

Parents/guardians are strongly encouraged, but not required, to attend. Please note that parent(s) will also need to create an FSA ID in order to complete the FAFSA with their student.
