Judy McCann Ball Memorial Book Scholarship

The Judy McCann Ball Memorial Book Scholarship provides a $300 non-renewable book scholarship to one graduating Crosby Scholars Senior.  This scholarship is in memory of Judy McCann Ball, a beloved friend and ardent supporter of the Crosby Scholars Invitational Tournament.   Judy was a lifelong lover and caregiver of animals, and whose memory is honored through volunteer service dedicated to animals in need.

Eligibility

To be considered for this award, applicant must:

• Complete all requirements of the Crosby Scholars Program
• Faithfully participate in extracurricular activities, including volunteer service with an organization that benefits animal

Application Procedure

Students may begin applying on March 16, 2020 and must submit a completed online application through their Crosby Scholars Student Portal by April 12, 2020.

The completed application includes:

1. Online application form
2. Activities Resume — Current activities resume should be in chart form and should include hours of participation for each volunteer service activity. Use the resume in your Crosby portal as a guide.
3. Essay – Please describe your volunteer efforts to benefit the lives of animals.  Essays should not exceed 500 words.
