Mona W. Lovett Outstanding Commitment to Service Award

The Mona W. Lovett Outstanding Commitment to Service Award provides one non-renewable $1,000 scholarship annually to a graduating Crosby Scholar senior who has provided a minimum of 100 hours of service to the community during the senior year of high school.  Students apply through their Crosby Scholars Student Portal with the following:  online application; activities resume; and essay.

This scholarship was established as a tribute to Mona W. Lovett, the President of Crosby Scholars Community Partnership, and as a recognition of over 20 years of service to the organization.

To be considered for this award, applicant must:

  • have completed at least 100 hours of volunteer service during the senior year of high school – verified and recorded in your Crosby Scholars student portal (applicants who have not submitted community service forms totaling 100 hours may submit additional forms by February 16, 2020 to meet this eligibility requirement)
  • plan to enroll in a two- or four-year college or university
  • complete all requirements of the Crosby Scholars Program
