SUMMARY:WS/FCS CACRAO In-Person College Fair | October 5th
DESCRIPTION:  \nFulfill the College Fair/Visit requirement in one night! \nAll Crosby Scholars must complete the College Fair/Visit requirement. The College Fair/Visit requirement is due in your Senior year\, but you can complete it as early as 10th grade! \nThe requirement can be met by attending one (1) college fair (like this one!) or visiting four (4) colleges individually. \nComplete the requirement in one night by attending the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools CACRAO College Fair and submitting your College Fair/Visit form. \nCrosby Scholars staff will be present with a QR code to access the College Fair/Visit form during this event. Stop by the Crosby Scholars table as you enter or leave the fair to access and submit the form. \n  \nLocation: Benton Convention Center\, 301 West 5th Street in downtown Winston-Salem \nParking: Parking is available in the parking deck. Be prepared to pay for parking. (Several hundred students will attend this fair\, so please allow extra time to enter and exit the parking deck.) \nApproximately 70 colleges/universities are represented at this fair. Each college will have its own table and will be placed in alphabetical order. To help scholars navigate the college fair\, a list of colleges and their table number is provided by the WS/FCS system and is available upon entering the fair. Additionally\, the list is posted above. Several hundred students will attend this fair\, so please allow extra time to enter and exit the parking deck. The fair offers students the opportunity to interact with admission reps from North Carolina colleges as well as out-of-state colleges. \nWhen you meet with admission reps at a college fair\, make sure to ask questions that are important to you so that you are learning whether a school is a good fit. Consider academic\, social\, emotional\, leadership\, and personal goals and which colleges are likely to foster their achievement. Remember to focus on the characteristics that you need and want rather than name recognition and/or prestige.
