For College. For Life. For Forsyth.

Crosby Scholars helps every public school student in Forsyth County prepare academically, personally, and financially for college — at no cost.

WHO WE ARE

Helping Students Dream Bigger Since 1992

For more than 30 years, Crosby Scholars has opened doors for Forsyth County students — building confidence, leadership, and college readiness.
Founded in 1992 as a community collaboration inspired by the values of the late Bing Crosby, the program began with a simple idea: every student deserves a clear path to college, no matter their circumstances.

What started with a few dozen students and a handful of dedicated volunteers has grown into a county-wide partnership serving more than 10,000 students each year. Today, Crosby Scholars continues to work alongside families, educators, and community leaders to ensure that opportunity never depends on income, background, or zip code — only on potential, perseverance, and possibility.
