DESCRIPTION:Filling out and submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is all about being prepared with the right documents. Learn exactly what information is necessary to complete the form correctly\, and find out how you can use the Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to easily submit the form! You will not complete your FAFSA during this academy\, if you seek assistance with completing your FAFSA\, please register to attend a CFNC FAFSA Day session from October 12-October 15. \nFor many students\, completing the FAFSA is the first step in the financial aid process\, and submitting a FAFSA is free.  Most states and colleges use FAFSA information to award financial aid.
