DESCRIPTION:This is one of the final senior academies of the 2019-20 school year!  \nWhat will you do when you get there?  Throughout the college admission process\, have you given this question any thought?  The obvious answer is study\, work hard\, figure out your major\, and ultimately earn a degree.  What else is there?  In this academy\, discover why the career services office is not just for seniors getting ready to enter the workforce.  Learn about budgeting your money and why fiscal responsibility (or lack thereof!) can reduce (or exacerbate) anxiety during college.  Finally\, consider the many aspects of wellness—mental\, physical\, emotional\, spiritual—and why it is important to attend to them as a college student.  Our panel of experts will speak on these topics\, and there will be time for discussion at the end of the academy.Three speakers will present information on career services\, budgeting and finances\, and wellness on campus.  A question and answer period will follow. \nTitle: CSA #18- Building a Life on Campus \nDate: December 9\, 2019 \nTime: 6:00-7:00 p.m. \nLocation: Central Meeting Room\, Goodwill Industries Building\, 2701 University Parkway

This means that you will be automatically considered for the scholarships for which you are eligible—with just one application. You’ll need to complete the application in full and provide supplemental materials. We’ll take it from there! \nHere’s how the process works: \n\nAccess our One-Stop Scholarship Application. You will create an online account that will be accessible to you any time – so you can save your work and return to it later.\nComplete the Basic Information and Qualifying Criteria and continue through the online application. Remember that your application is only complete once we receive all requested supplemental items. Be sure to meet the firm deadlines noted above.\nReceive notification of your scholarship(s). Merit-based scholarship awards are communicated in May\, while need-based scholarships are awarded throughout the summer. Notifications are made by letter and email.
