Why Should I Become A Crosby Scholar? |
|
|
The Crosby Scholars Program helps students begin to
prepare for their future. The program encourages setting positive life goals
and helps students achieve those goals. By choosing to become a Crosby Scholar,
students demonstrate their willingness to strive for academic success, give
back to the community, maintain a drug free-lifestyle, and exhibit good
citizenship. |

Who Can Become A Crosby Scholar |
|
|
The program is available to students attending public middle and
high schools in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County. Each student in grades 6-11 who
completes and submits an application for the program by the deadline is
automatically accepted. Crosby Scholars must complete all program requirements
each year. To participate in the Program as a senior Crosby Scholar, a student
must successfully complete the Program as a junior. There is no senior
application for this Program. |

How Do I Apply To The Program? |
|
|
Each fall the Crosby Scholars Program staff presents the program
to students in grades 6-11 at each of the participating middle and high
schools. During this presentation, staff members discuss program requirements
and the application process. Following the presentation, students may obtain an
application from their school. The completed application must be returned to
their school by the published deadline. |
